Reuben McBride born 16 Jun 1803 is the son of Daniel McBride and Abigail Mead. Daniel was a preacher and Abigail came from a long line of devout Quakers. He was baptized by Amasa Lyman into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a faithful follower until his death in Utah in 1891. Following is a page from Pioneer Incidents of Rev.
