These photos were probably taken around or a little before 1940. My Dad (Lloyd) told me the Chevy was a 37 and the dog's name was Queenie. He thinks he was 16 or 17. I would vote more 17. The younger boy with lighter hair is Bill Frey. The older boy with dark hair is Lloyd Frey. Charlotte Frey is the girl. The photos were taken at the family home in Fruitvale, Colorado.

  1. I am guessing that you are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I want to tell you a story that I hope will inspire you to continue this marvelous work. My mothers mom was taken in and raised by the Frey family when her father died. My mom is not a member of the church but has had a warming in her heart to geneology in the last year or so. I joined the church almost 20 years ago and while I do not expect she will join in this life time my mother was shocked and very interested in the Mormon heritage of the family. Also the work you have done answers so many questions she had about this line of the family. I pray always for my mother and my anscestors to have this great church and your work is softening her heart to the truth that I think she knows deep down. Sometimes I am sad that she doesn't understand me but I can see that Heavenly Father is preparing her for a change. She is almost 81 and my father has been gone for many years (yes, his work is done). You are opening a door I could not. Thank you is not enough to express my love and appreciation for this great work you are doing! I am Ruth Jones, daughter of Margret Kaul, born Margret Rupp, daughter of Edna Menzie. I know this church is true and pray you will truly be blessed for this dedication. My email is ruthjones1000@yahoo.com God Bless You
